I mainly do Java and JavaScript, but I'm learning functional programming in Haskell too. A functional programming language like Haskell, for instance, can express the Fibonacci sequence in an intensional definition without specification of an exact sequence of dataflow between memory and CPU. Trying to relax after an unlucky day which started with a fender-bender So, to take my mind away from today's unfortunate events I'm hacking some Haskell code tonight and playing around with the Haskell Par Monad. Languages like Erlang, Haskell, Scala, F# and Clojure seem to be pretty well known and many popular programming sites (such as Stack Overflow) seem to be full of questions and discussions on them. JP Moresmau's Programming Blog. Haskell has two popular graphical toolkits, Gtk2Hs and wxHaskell. Foltzer introduces Molog, a typed functional logic programming language written in Haskell. In this blog I talk about some of the personal work I do in programming. Abstract: We aim for composing algorithmic music in an interactive way with multiple participants. While I do have a personal appreciation for the Haskell programming language (and I plan to do a separate primer for it), I have wanted to explore category theory within the context of programming for quite a while now.
